Safety is our main priority
At Vancouver Industrial Electric Ltd. job planning and safety are an integral part of each and every job. We believe in following safe work practices, using the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), proper tools and equipment. Our standards are stringent to comply with the Work Safe Occupational Health and Safety Standards, site safety rules and regulations, and our own safety training. As part of our job execution we perform Field Level Risk Assessment (FLRA's), tailboard job planning which provides compliance and understanding with our crews and customers.
Our policy is five to stay alive:
1. Disconnect Power / Switch Power off
2. Visual Isolation
3. Apply personal safety lockout of equipment
4. Test for the presence of voltage before touch
5. Apply system grounding where necessary
These measures ensure the crew is clear of the job operations and provides an electrically safe work environment.

2. Under Step #2 click on Search button.
3. In the Account entry box, enter Account #850656 and then click on Search button.
4. After the page refreshes please click on the selection box to place a check mark beside Vancouver Industrial Electric Ltd. and then click the done button.
5. Next enter your information in the required fields at the top of the page and then click on the Request clearance letter button.
6. Print the Clearance letter and you are done.
