CSA Z32-09 Patient Reference Ground Testing

In order to comply with Section 24 of the Canadian Electrical Code requirements we provide consultation and patient reference ground (PRG) testing of installations where patients will be treated according to the CSA Z32-09 Standard.  We provide third party electrical testing with experienced technicians using PRG testing equipment in health care facilities.  Their knowledge of testing and consultation regarding grounding and verification of electrical circuits in the patient care area is in accordance with the CSA Z32-09 and Canadian Electric Code.

We provide electrical testing as per the CSA Z32-09 Standards for:

1.       Insulation resistance
2.       Voltage drop test for grounded systems
3.       Branch circuit breakers operation and circuit verification
4.       Receptacle retentive force testing
5.       Polarity testing
6.       Voltage difference between ground points
7.       Ground return path voltage rise for grounded system
